5 Months Old

This little cutie is now 5 months old. So many new developmental things have changed in the last month that I can't even keep up with the blog. As of two days ago, she found a love for paper. Paper tastes amazing. Not only paper, but if she could get a hold of my phone, she'd love to give someone a call. Natalie grabbed at my plate and drinks all day today and does it with some serious force. She is on a destructive mission. See her new hat? Dad was pretty excited to find it. She gets a little more attention that she already did with her bright blue eyes. This is a heart melter.
Giggling is starting to pick up. She started giggling while shopping the other day and while riding on Dad's shoulders in Hood River. Her squawking has decreased since the last post, but she comes up with new sounds often.

Natalie also met some cute goats yesterday. Super friendly kids and momma goat. She thought they were pretty cool. So did grandma. :)

As of yesterday, we have been enjoying the sweltering heat of Hood River. Grandma Marty and Aunt Bobbie are here for a visit. We checked out downtown and hit the Sandbar for some kiteboard watching. Ryan had hid the key for the van. I assumed I knew where to find it. Nope! I was trying my best to find it so I could drive us around while Ryan was kiting, but instead I had to call the public transportation to pick up Marty and Bobbie to drive them to me and Nat on the waterfront. Whew. It is hot here. We didn't melt since we found a food cart and shaded tables that overlook the water. Luckily we spotted Ryan and watched him bum around on his kiteboard for an hour or two.

No plans in place. No worries in the world. Just fun in the sun and cool in the house. Thank goodness for air-conditioning. It is hot here!

Cheers--Kate, Ryan and Natalie

Love the hat, she is darling on Ryan's back, bouncing up and down. It is so great watching her grow up.
Love always,
Grandma Carolyn
