Who needs pie?

I can't remember the last time, if ever, that I baked a pie. However, I needed to free up some space in the freezer and made a Marion Berry Pie. The recipe came from Edible Portland. Turned out good. Very lemony.

5 days of trimming later....

Ryan has officially finished the tree and removed the pile from the yard! It was quite the job. We thought we'd have someone haul it away, but found they all wanted over $400!! No thanks.

We rented a trailer and filled it up. By we, I mean Brian and Ryan.

Can't wait to clean it all up this Spring.

Ryan is "Nesting" too

This poor tree hasn't had a trimming this dramatic since we moved in. It's about time!
