35th Birthday Camping

Happy Birthday Weekend Ryan!

We hit the road for our fist camping trip of the year. Sounds kind of ridiculous, but we have been having lots of fun in Hood River, not allowing many free weekends for camping. Ryan celebrated his 35th Birthday biking along some beautiful falls. We did a bit of hiking and checked out some caves on Mt. St. Helens.

Summer, summer, summer time

This kiddo is enjoying this summer so much. From the watermelon to the sprinkler, she enjoys being outside best. Thankfully the heat wave has passed and we can get out and do some more playing outside.

Natalie has started saying a few more words, but oddly she has decided to stop saying other words. :) It used to be constant Dada, and now it is Mamamamamamama all day long. Mom is enjoying it!

She is a big house helper. Cleaning windows, washing floors, putting toys away (when prompted only)...these are all great things.







Coloring is a latest and greatest event! She is a huge fan of popping off the lids, scribbling fast, grabbing another and repeat. She is also most likely to throw the marker down as she grabs another. Although, today we had a breakthrough. A lid was replaced after using it. Whew. There is hope.

Watermelon Bliss

Natalie was into the watermelon. It made her smile ear to ear...and OH SO STICKY! Video quality is not great, but you get the "picture."

18 months later...

It is hard to believe this kiddo has turned 1.5 yrs old. Whew. Time is flying. Her personality is maturing, she is speaking more words in the last week and she knows pretty much everything we say around her. We must be very careful how of what we say.

Photo Blast

Chasing Natalie has delayed my posting. Sounds like a huge bunch of bologna, but it is 100% truth.
Fun Facts about Nattie:
1. Favorite food: Coleslaw. Really. :)
2. She likes the taste of coffee. No, we don't give it to her, but she often seeks out our cups.
3. Keys are the best thing in the world to her. She wants to eat them all.
4. She tolerates the car rides. We most often use the van. It is the mom mega van!
5. Natalie runs and no longer walks. Running only for her.
6. Snuggle bunny! She loves to love, hug, snuggle, pat, pet...she is affectionate and we are eating it up.
7. Still breastfeeding. That may not change if up to her. It may be a rough road ahead for weaning.
8. Ice: We found out that she can be entertained for hours with ice. If the cubes are coming, she is good to go.
