Spring is feeling close

Snow is sooooo last week. Let the bulbs bloom!

One of my favorite parts of our home is the springtime yard. With 50+ year old mature plants, it makes for a beautiful blooming spring. Everything is green and the garden is being planted.

Natalie and I did a little yard work today. Lots of sticks to pick up. Lawn needed mowing. Oh, and we hadn't taken down the house Christmas lights. Lame. I know. Is it wrong that I put Natalie in her hiking backpack and mowed with her on my back? She loved it. I did put poofy hat over her ears.

This is my pile of rocks found in the cracks of my Nike Free's soles. Now I am ready to workout in the house.

Why this picture? I spent a long 1.5 hours scrubbing the grout. Looks awesome now. Cinderella out!!

Headed out in the bike trailer...

...screamed until she ripped her helmet off. Ripped it right off the head mount.

Swings are awesome!

Lunch with Little Henry. He was a bit bored.

I think Natalie is trying to cheers too.

Cabin Fever

We totally understand cabin fever now. Since Friday, we have all been enjoying one another's company, but we are getting a little stir crazy. We walked to Target. That was thrilling. We walked to the mall. It closed when we got there. I guess we could shop online??? Naaaa. I'd rather bake, Ryan would rather work on his bikes and eat cookies.

Ryan had some very necessary bike maintenance to do so that he can hop on his new commuter bike. Natalie was a super helper, can you tell?

Natalie was enjoying her bike too. She took a few spins around the house and when done, would hop off quickly.

It is quite boring around our house. We feel strongly with making sure Natalie does't watch any TV. She can watch TV when she is older. I am sure she will get plenty of time after 2 or 3 years old. With that being said, it causes us to have lots of quiet family time. All good, but when the Olympics are going on, we don't get to watch them as we wish. Only during naps and when she goes to bed. Of course she doesn't nap all that well when she has so many people here at home to play with.

Here is our Before, During and After snow shots.

Snow Day...or three

This has been quite the snow event. Lucky for us Crannie was in the neighborhood when the storm hit and she is stuck with us. Natalie is enjoying her time with us all for sure.

Although it has stopped snowing, it's coming back tomorrow. We had fun outside today.

1 Year Pictures

Natalie wasn't the happiest during our pictures. She was napping soundly and I had to wake her up for pictures. I had a feeling that was a bad idea, but didn't have a choice.
