Oh the shopping. Then the wrapping. Oh, shopping again. Oops, I forgot this and that. Natalie and I found ourselves making two trips to the mall this week. I walked, she rode. Whit went with us on one trip. The first trip was 23 degrees out. She was over dressed, I was not. Trip two was nice and sunny. Only as low as 34 degrees today.
Both days the mall was a giant mess. You would think efficiency, free flowing and clear aisles would be key. Nope. They have deliberately crammed useless junk into the aisles so that no two people of any size can share the space. Annoying. I guess someone likes a whole lot of useless ugly stuff.
We managed to live through the chaos. Whew. It was a close one. I'd like to shop 100% local, but I can't walk that far.
By the way, Ryan is in Japan for work so we are trying to stay extra busy so we don't miss him as much as we really do. :)
Nat was asleep in the pack. Whit had to eat around her snoozing.
Brian and Tara came for dinner. Nat got a shoulder ride.
She was checking the temp from way up there.
This is where if Nat could talk she'd tell me she was going to remove the lights. Oh, an shake all the dead needles out. Great.
Dang. It didn't snow much.
Did I mention we are home roasting our own coffee? So fun! Not sure if I did it right, since Ryan is better than I, but I was out of coffee. Had to fix that problem quickly.
