8 Months Old

Today marks a big milestone. Not only did Natalie turn 8 months old, she was so sad when her Daddy left for work. Ryan stopped by the house after a quick meeting at his office near by the house and he grabbed some Nattie snuggles. She was so upset, sad face crying, when he handed her back to me. It was a big deal that he was leaving for work. She had been upset with me for not giving her to him when he gets home all stinky and sweaty, but this was a new upset. I don't feel like old socks, I know that this is a great part of her development and she will go through favorite parents off and on for the rest of her childhood and beyond.

Yesterday we met Ryan on our street with the dogs and when Nattie started crying, Ginger hopped up on her lap and rode the rest of the way home.
She is quite the little helper. Here she is helping Dad unload the dishwasher at the Hood River house before we head home.
What does she do when you take this glass away? Scream and want more. Lovely.

Naps last so long when we snuggle with a warm body, but longer if it is Dad.
Ryan was teaching her how to use her new elmo cell phone. She prefers the iPhone4s. Elmo is a flip phone without data.

Ella and Nattie had dinner together at the kid table. Ella was sharing. She was dumping rice over the edge of her high chair to Nattie's low tray. So nice of her to share.

Bubbles!
